Letter from the Head of Primary

Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome to Edmonton County School, an ‘all-through’ education from 4-19 years old.

Our school has recently grown to include Reception through to Year 5.  It will grow every year until our Year 6 pupils will go seamlessly into the secondary phase with no hesitations. We welcome children to our state-of-the-art facilities and look forward to helping them to learn and grow throughout their school careers. We believe that happy children have inquisitive minds.

We had our first Ofsted inspection in December 2014 and we are a consistently good school aiming to become outstanding in the near future.

The Edmonton County Primary provides a wonderful place for children to grow and develop in a warm and nurturing environment. We believe that our children need to feel happy and secure at all times. We provide a strong foundation in basic skills learning, enriched with adventure and creativity. Providing safety, nurture and strong guidance forms the essence of an excellent learning atmosphere.

We celebrate the diversity of our community. Every culture and religion is valued and respected. By working together, your child’s hands will be held gently but securely as they make that important transition from home to school.

Our staff, as part of the Edmonton County family, will provide skilled teaching leading to the outcomes that will help the children to make a successful journey into adult life.

Erini Franciosa and Paul Miller
Co-Heads of Primary
