Parent / Teacher Association Meeting
I am writing to invite you to our first evening meeting of the Parent/Teachers Association. We are really keen to expand our numbers and encourage parents to become part of this really important organisation. The meeting will take place at the Beehive pub on 20th March 2013 between 7-8pm. We understand that parents lead busy lives, but even if you have the odd hour here and there that you can spare throughout the year this could make a difference to us and our school.
The Parent/Teachers Association has been established in school in order to give parents and staff the opportunity to work together to raise funds that will benefit our students. It is also an opportunity to establish communication with parents and set up a working community in school, where all of the stakeholders involved can work together to put on fun events for everyone to be part of.
It is so important to have a close relationship with your child’s school and the regular meetings held by the PTA do help to facilitate this. There is also a lot of satisfaction to be gained, having put on a really successful event in school that helps to raise funds for educational resources for our students. We really hope that we have a big turn out; there will be light refreshments and some nibbles available and we look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you
Yours sincerely,
Miss M Panayi
