Read Write Inc.

We would like to invite you to the Read Write Inc. (RWI) Parent Workshop on Tuesday 27th September at 3.30pm.  Here you will have the opportunity to find out more about the Phonics Programme used at Edmonton County to develop your child’s reading skills, as well as find out some useful tips to support your child further at home.  For Year 1 parents, there will also be some important information shared about the Phonics Screening test which your child will take in June 2017.

Fun Bake Off

Primary

On Friday 30th September, we will be holding a fun “bake off” event to raise money for Macmillan Charity.  Each class team of Teacher and Teaching Assistants will be prepare cakes for all children and families to purchase in a bid to win the prize for the team which raises the most money.

This would be a prime opportunity to discuss ideas for further events and development of the PTA at Edmonton County School.  You will have a chance to meet with the school’s representative of the PTA, Miss Lewis, and share your ideas over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.
