10am to 1pm at the Cambridge and Bury Campus Canteens.

All Year 11 Students Welcome.

  • 10am Independent Silent Study
  • 10.55am Break
  • 11.10am Study session 2
  • 11.55am Break
  • 12.10pm Study session 3
  • 1pm Dismissed

Terms and Conditions

1. Students attending are required to bring their own revision material and a personal revision plan for the session.
2. Lanyard and ID needed but no phones or electronic equipment are allowed.
3. Refreshments provided.
4. Free cinema ticket provided to students who successfully complete 3 sessions.
5. All attendees are expected to be focused on their work at the allotted times, students who are not will be asked to leave.

Easter Holidays

Community / From the Headteacher / Parents

Dear parents and carers

The spring term ends on Friday 27 March 2015 and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a pleasant spring-time. I hope that you have some time to spend with your friends and family over the Easter period. Of course, our Year 11, 12 and 13 students will be busy preparing for their examinations!

On Friday we say farewell to several staff. Ms Lauren Mack is leaving after fulfilling the maternity leave contract, Ms Francine Quaicoe is leaving from the SH&D faculty, Ms Lucy Blincoe is leaving from the Languages Faculty and Ms Vineta Mitchell is leaving to begin teacher training. We thank our colleagues for their service to the school and wish them well in their careers.

Term resumes on Monday 13 April 2015 and will continue to the half-term break that begins on Monday 25 May 2015.

The Police have asked me to inform you that there are three dispersal Zones being implemented during this week. Palmers Green and Enfield Town are in place on Friday 27th from 8am to 8pm. There is also a dispersal zone around Southgate station and along Chase Side throughout this week too.

Sixth Form Success on Summer Programmes

Aspiring Professionals

Congratulations to Ohid Islam, Mehmetcan Goksungur and Abdisamad Omar from Form 12I, who have all been accepted onto the Aspiring Professionals Programme through the Social Mobility Foundation. These programmes are open to motivated ambitious students from less privileged backgrounds and the first in the family to go to university.

Ernst and Young

Congratulations also to Akin Tasar, Form 12I who has been offered a place with Ernst and Young on their Smart Futures Programme. Ernst and Young is a global company spread across the world in over 40 countries. They work with some of the largest banks, insurance, government and oil companies.

Sixth Form Students – Intergenerational Project – Ridge Avenue Library

33 more of our Sixth Form students are signed up ready to begin the next five Intergenerational Projects at Ridge Avenue Library taking place in April to July. The students will assist an over 50s borough resident with an online guided programme called ‘Learn My Way’ which is designed to introduce new computer users or those less confident in their IT skills to a computer. The course covers topics from mouse and keyboard skills, to setting up an email account, social networking and filling in forms online.
