Aspiring Professionals
Congratulations to Ohid Islam, Mehmetcan Goksungur and Abdisamad Omar from Form 12I, who have all been accepted onto the Aspiring Professionals Programme through the Social Mobility Foundation. These programmes are open to motivated ambitious students from less privileged backgrounds and the first in the family to go to university.

Congratulations also to Akin Tasar, Form 12I who has been offered a place with Ernst and Young on their Smart Futures Programme. Ernst and Young is a global company spread across the world in over 40 countries. They work with some of the largest banks, insurance, government and oil companies.

Sixth Form Students – Intergenerational Project – Ridge Avenue Library
33 more of our Sixth Form students are signed up ready to begin the next five Intergenerational Projects at Ridge Avenue Library taking place in April to July. The students will assist an over 50s borough resident with an online guided programme called ‘Learn My Way’ which is designed to introduce new computer users or those less confident in their IT skills to a computer. The course covers topics from mouse and keyboard skills, to setting up an email account, social networking and filling in forms online.
