Harvest week At Edmonton County School
This week we have celebrated Harvest at our school. We learnt about crops being harvested from the fields and talked about hard work that people carry out on farms so that we have a range of healthy foods to eat. Throughout the week, children brought in their donations of an array of different unperishable foods. On Friday these were collected by two of the representatives from the Manna Day Centre who were very pleased to receive our contribution . Children helped to pack the donations in boxes.
We have enjoyed sharing with those who are less fortunate than us as we know, ‘caring is sharing’.
