UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge

Recently 46 students from Year 9 and Year 10 took part in the UK Intermediate Maths Challenge set by the UK Mathematics Trust.  The challenge was very difficult and involved problem solving of a range of mathematical situations.

Particular congratulations go to Mehmet Kaynar (Year 10) who was awarded ‘Best in School’ after achieving a high score of 74.  Three of our students received a Gold Award, 3 Silver and 9 Bronze in this year’s UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, which saw over 235,000 pupils from across the UK sit this important National challenge.

Due to their excellent high scores Mehmet Kaynar, Yasin Kaynar and Curtis Williams took part in the Intermediate Kangaroo Challenge.
