2nd – 6th March is National Careers Week!

To mark this event we will be running two lunchtime drop-in sessions for all year groups, to come and find out about various career areas. Students will be able to pick up literature, course information and use websites to find out about a day in the life of people working in their chosen career area. We hope to have a representative from QA Apprenticeships talking about IT jobs, a team from Tesco introducing students to their Tesco Academy website which provides guidance on CV writing, interview skills etc, and another ex-student talking about working in the film industry.

Tuesday 3rd March – 12.15-2.00pm in the Cambridge Campus Library

Thursday 5th March – 12.15-2.00pm in the Bury Campus IAG Room

You can visit the NCW website and view videos of people talking about their careers and how they got into them, find out useful careers websites and gain hints and tips on CV writing, work experience, interview skills and employability skills. Go to https://www.nationalcareersweek.com/ and follow the links to various resources. You  can also follow on Twitter at #NCW2015/@NCW2015.
