Traineeship oppotunitues
If you are 16-23 years of age, qualified up to level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) and are keen to get into work a Traineeship can help, by preparing you for the world of work and improving your chances of getting a job or going on to an Apprenticeship or further study.
Traineeships offered in:
• Gardening and Grounds Management
• Horticulture and Garden Centres
• Garden Design and Landscaping
• Animal
• Management and Care
• Tree Surgery and Arboriculture
• Countryside and Woodland Management
• Floristry
Traineeships comprise a study programme and work experience organised by Capel Manor to help young people become ‘work ready’ or to progress to Apprenticeships or further study.
A Traineeship could be for you, if you are:
• Motivated to work
• Unemployed (or work less than 16 hours per week) and have little work experience
• Aged either 16–18 and qualified below Level 3 OR are aged 19–23 and qualified below full Level 2
Traineeships last from six weeks to six months and include:
• Work preparation ensuring you have the confidence and skills to take the first step in your career.
• Work experience giving you a real understanding of work plus up to date skills.
• Literacy and numeracy skills that employers ask for and you need in the workplace.
