Cheque presentation to Great Ormond Street Hospital
Celebration of our recent charity drive reached its conclusion with the presentation of a cheque for £5672 to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)
Jessica Morrison-Nicol a year 11 student first suggested we should sponsor GOSH and led assemblies to create awareness and support for this charity.
Students of all ages and every house group engaged in innovative fund raising activities including sponsored running and 3-legged races, car washes, sponsored silences, leg waxing and the unforgettable ‘I’m a teacher get me out of here!’
Everyone benefitted from the positive atmosphere during these events when the young people in our school community showed a generosity of spirit and willingness to help others.
