Imperial College London are offering students in Year 9 the opportunity to participate in their Summer School for Engineering. This will be non-residential and will promote the breadth of engineering disciplines available when
you study Maths and Science subjects.

Summer School for Year 12 students interested in finding out about studying at Oxford University. The best way to learn is to get involved so if this is an aspiration students can apply to  Application deadline 28th January 2019

For Year 12 students interested in doing a Science Work Experience this is a great opportunity to explore, particularly for those interested in STEM careers. More information can be found on

Nuffield Research Placement, coordinated by SETPOINT arrange Work Experience for Year 12 students, prioritising those form low income homes. Students will be responsible for your own research project with expert supervision, working alongside professional scientists, engineers, technologists or mathematicians. This scheme is highly regarded by universities. For further details visit Application deadline is the 1st March 2019.

Applications for LSE 2019 Summer School is now open and will be from the Monday 1st – Friday 5th July 2019.

LSE Compass offers Year 11 students attending London state schools the opportunity to spend a week at LSE, taking part in Social Science subjects whilst learning more about university. The week will also give students the chance to experience university life first hand, meet current university students and encourage them to pursue Higher Education. The programme is non-residential and runs from 9.15am – 4pm each day with no cost to the student. Lunch is available free of charge each day, all course materials are provided and any travel costs are refunded at the end of the week.
