Parents > Family Support
We are currently running a 12 week programme for Parents who want to develop their parenting skills
The programme runs for 12 weeks. Each session lasts for 2 hrs. The problem solving approach gives parents a 6-point plan to approach the difficulties the young person may present. We help you to identify and recognise trigger points and show you how to avoid arguments and difficult situations.
Places are limited & will be allocated on a first come basis – Download the full details here.

Extended Telephone Support
Parents and carers struggling with family problems often need extra support. To meet that need, FamilyLives (previously Parentline Plus) offers an extended telephone support service (ETS).
Calls are free, confidential and can be about any parenting issue, large or small – from children’s sleeping problems and family rows through to violent behaviour, alcohol, drugs and gangs.
You can download various leaflets from FamilyLives for more information.
