Within the Enterprise faculty at Edmonton County School we have 5 subjects these include: Computer Science, Economics, Food, Hospitality and Catering and ICT. These subjects are taught by a dedicated and well qualified specialist team of 8 teachers across both campuses.

Head of Faculty – Debra Williams

Our vision for Computing and ICT is for students to gain insight into the possibilities of computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. Part of this is ensuring that pupils become digitally literate – able to use, and express themselves and develop their ideas through, information and communication technology.

As part of their work within Food and Catering, pupils are taught how to cook and apply the principles of nutrition and healthy eating. Learning how to cook is a crucial life skill that enables pupils to feed themselves and others, affordably and well, now, and later in life.

Preparing students for the future and a workplace which is ever changing is a prime focus for us and by studying the world of Business and Economics our students will be well prepared for their next steps whether that be apprenticeships, the world of work or further study.
