Academic Review Day Two

Thursday 26th January, 2017

Following on from the successful Academic Review Day one in September 2016, parents & students to attend a ten minute appointment with their tutor to discuss progress made and review targets.

The day runs from 1:30pm – 7:30pm.

There are no normal lessons on this day – you only attend for your appointment.

More details to follow in January.

Glee club

Glee club is up and running on Cambridge this year and it would be amazing to get more of the year 7s involved.

We have an outside practitioner from Pineapple arts coming in to do two taster sessions – Monday 21st November and Monday 28th November after school in Music, as Pineapple will be working with us from January. All students are welcome!

Aspergers, education and me

All Welcome

We are pleased to inform you that on 24th November 10am on the Cambridge Campus, we will be having Dean Beadle join our Autism support coffee morning to give a talk on “Aspergers, education and me”.

Dean Beadle has toured the UK for ten years sharing his experiences of life with Aspergers Syndrome

As a singer, Dean has sung at a few events and in 2017 is branching out into performing at charity balls across the country.

Enrichment Day Visit – Year 4

Year 4 will be visiting The British Museum on Wednesday 9th November.  This is an educational visit that will support your child’s learning during our topic “Walk like an Egyption”.  The children will learn about what it was like to live in Ancient Egypt and see some real artefacts.

The cost of the trip is £5.

Children will have individual letters asking for parent’s permission.
